Description

Learn how to make a classic Italian pizza in our one-hour and half workshop with a local Italian chef as your guide.
After learning and baking with all ingredients and equipment provided, enjoy your homemade pizza, along the Tiber riverbank in the fantastic framework of Rome city center.
Every summer the most important and typical restaurants and bars in Rome move to the riverbank of the Tiber and offer their services there. 
You can find excellent street food restaurants as well as the typical Roman "trattorie" where you can have a good meal or, if you prefer, you can just stroll and enjoy an aperitif or an after-dinner drink looking at the beauties of the eternal city in a magic atmosphere!

The lesson and lunch or dinner, have a duration of one hour and a half and they will take place along the Tiber River Banks, in the heart of Rome, next to Castel Sant'Angelo and San Pietro Basilica.

Make your way to our summer location located in central Rome, along the riverbank and meet your small group of aspiring pizza chefs and your local guide. You’ll spend one-hour and a half learning how to make pizza from fresh ingredients. 

What You Can Expect
The Cooking class includes:

Single station for each participant, including the work plan, apron and a rolling pin.
Theoretical and practical lesson on the dough working, from the ingredients to the time to rise and the two different ways of kneading the dough: thin like in Roman style or in Neapolitan one.
You can choose which type of pizza you’d like to learn: Marinara (tomato, garlic, oregano), Margherita (tomato, mozzarella, basil), Diavola (tomato, mozzarella, spicy salami, chilli), Napoli (tomato, mozzarella, anchovies)
Lunch or Dinner
After the lesson, you will be accompanied at your table where you’ll enjoyed your homemade Pizza cooked in a wood oven.
